To get to Alder Lane Beach head down Pope Ave. to Coligny Circle, go past Coligny Beach and exit onto South Forest Beach Road…

Travel about a half mile down South Forest Beach, drive slowly past the Marriott Grande Ocean Resort and you’ll find Alder Lane Beach along the south border of the Grande Ocean Resort.

If your Hilton Head Island beach vacation delivers you to Alder Lane Beach, you’ll find a neat, somewhat hidden getaway.

It is the kind of Hilton Head beach spot that many vacationers don’t usually come across – unless you are staying in a nearby Hilton Head vacation villa.

Parking

Parking for Alder Beach Lane is different from some of the other Hilton Head beach spots. You’ll find metered parking across the street from the beach entrance at Woodward Drive

The meter cost 25 cents for 15 minutes.

There are restroom facilities and beverage vending machines.

At Alder Lane Beach you'll find a seasonal wheelchair mat that covers parts of the sand, making the shoreline more accessible.

Rentals / Recreation

Alder Lane Beach does not offer rental services or recreation areas.
