Harbour Town Golf Links in Sea Pines is our top choice for a Hilton Head golf course vacation. The Harbour Town lighthouse stands watch over the 18th hole of this famous course.
Harbour Town Golf Links is a favorite annual stop on the PGA tour during The Verizon Heritage - and the links began the careers of world famous course designer Pete Dye...with then PGA Tour player Jack Nicklaus as design consultant.
This Hilton Head golf course is a best pick of many golf pros and it’s also one of the few golf courses that remain on many "top 100 lists" year after year.
To say it’s a tough course is an understatement. Harbour Town forces golfers to be extremely accurate…and not just here and there, but through all 18 holes.
Harbour Town Golf Links is the number one golf course in South Carolina as ranked by Golf Magazine, and the cost of playing it reflects this.
Any avid golfer wants to say they played Harbour Town, even if only once - so be sure to lock down your tee time here well in advance.

The Robert Trent Jones course is one of a small number of official short courses in the region & the signature hole is easily the 10th… It’s a par 5 that opens up to the Atlantic Ocean.
3) Arthur Hills Course
Location: Palmetto Dunes Plantation, mid-island Hilton Head
Price: $$$$
Par: 72
Rating: 72.9
Arthur Hills in Palmetto Dunes unwinds at a leisurely pace – the course reflects and incorporates the nature and surroundings of our lowcountry area – great atmosphere!
Don’t be fooled though - the play is challenging and thanks to strategically placed lagoons, an aerial approach is necessary on several holes.
Hills is the best in Palmetto Dunes and one of our top 3 in the area. It also has had a 15 year history of hosting GolfWorlds collegiate golf tournaments, with such notable players as Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson.
The signature hole here is no doubt the 17th – a demanding 4 par with a dogleg over water …There’s a lot of character on this course.
