Disney Hilton Head Resort is a
Unique Favorite - is it Right for You?
In keeping with the Disney vacation villa tradition the rooms are spacious, clean and have kitchens and balconies. "South Carolina Lowcountry" is the theme & style of Disney’s Hilton Head Island resort. The rooms and grounds are well kept and modern with surprises like hammocks and grills any guest can use.
Disney Hilton Head is top-heavy with activities for the families with kids, including nature programs, campfires, magic shows, “Kids Night Out”, crabbing, art, swimming pool & pool games, biking, kayaking, tennis and more things to do.
The Disney Hilton head resort is on sprawling natural marsh - Hilton Head’s Broad Creek - and this setting has many amenities, but it is not on the ocean.
To get to sand & sea, hop aboard a regularly schedule shuttle bus, a bike, your car or the walking path - and about a mile-and-a-half away is Disney’s Beach House. It is located across the street in the private Palmetto Dunes Plantation.
The resort does not have a full service restaurant, but there are two spots to eat: The main resort building and at The Beach Club. Both serve breakfast and lunch. Adjacent Shelter Cove has a nice mix of restaurants and a supermarket.
Disney’s Hilton Head Resort also has a friendly staff and a laid-back old-fashioned southern style that scores highly for many of Hilton Head’s vacationing families.
